Vitamin D toxicity rare in people who take supplements Mayo Clinic

Vitamin D toxicity is rare in people who take supplements according to a Mayo Clinic study just published. The research, published in the May 2015 issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings, which included over 1700 people, should allay concerns that toxicity may be an issue due to many more people in both the US and Australia taking vitamin D supplements on the back of health warnings about widespread deficiency of the vitamin.
