Vitamin D reduces mortality according to long term data

High serum vitamin D levels are associated with a lower risk of dying, a prospective population study conducted over a 13-year period shows. Published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the study also found patients with high vitamin D levels had less cardiovascular events, respiratory disease and fractures.
