The research findings, published in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (JASN), indicate that vitamin D - which is an easily accessible, safe, and inexpensive nutritional supplement - may be a useful addition to treatments for safeguarding kidney health in children with mild to moderate chronic kidney disease (CKD).
