Vitamin D deficiency increases migraines

Frequency of migraines may be associated with serum vitamin D deficiency the Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports.

The Korean study found that the number of days per month with headaches was associated with serum vitamin D deficiency and the proportion of people with migraines with vitamin D deficiency varied from 61.7 percent in autumn to 89.1 percent in spring.
