Vitamin C may help exercise induced bronchoconstriction

Supplementation with vitamin C may help people who suffer from airway obstruction or respiratory symptoms after exercise, Finnish research shows. The review of studies, published in the journal of Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology, found that nine randomised trials that were included indicate that vitamin C has genuine biological effects on pulmonary functions and respiratory symptoms in people doing heavy exercise.
