Resveratrol causes changes in dogs immune systems

Research on the effects of the natural phenol compound resveratrol on immunity in dogs could eventually lead to disease treatments in humans, according to US scientists. Researchers at the University of Missouri found that resveratrol affects the immune systems of dogs in different ways when introduced to dogs' blood and say that their data is a first step in determining how the chemical causes immune systems to react.
