Probiotics help lower blood pressure

Regular consumption of probiotics may help reduce high blood pressure and maintain healthy blood pressure levels, recent Australian research suggests. The researchers of the systematic review led by Jing Sun, PhD, a senior lecturer at Griffith University’s Griffith Health Institute and School of Medicine, analysed results of nine high-quality studies examining blood pressure and probiotic consumption in 543 adults with normal and elevated blood pressure.
