Parkinsons disease may begin in the gut new research

New, ground breaking research indicates that Parkinson's disease may begin in the gastrointestinal tract and spread through the vagus nerve to the brain. The major epidemiological registry-based study from researchers at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark, is the largest in the field so far.
