Omega 3s top lifestyle changes for lowering blood pressure

Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are equally, if not more, effective in lowering blood pressure as some of the commonly recommended lifestyle changes like increasing physical activity and restricting alcohol and sodium intake, a review finds. Writing in the American Journal of Hypertension, the review authors concluded that available evidence from randomized controlled trials indicates that provision of EPA+DHA reduces systolic blood pressure, while provision of ≥2 grams reduces diastolic blood pressure.
