Omega 3 rich diet helpful in cystic fibrosis australian review

A diet rich in omega 3 essential fatty acids appears to have beneficial anti-inflammatory effects for chronic conditions such as cystic fibrosis, a recently updated literature review shows. The Australian authors, from The Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, searched the Cochrane Cystic Fibrosis and Genetic Disorders Group's Trials Register, for randomised controlled trials in people with cystic fibrosis comparing omega-3 fatty acid supplements with placebo.
