Omega 3 fatty acid and b vitamin combo slows brain atrophy in oldies

Cognitively impaired old people with higher blood levels of omega 3 fatty acids when given vitamin B supplements have a slower rate of brain atrophy, new research shows. Plasma concentrations of omega 3 fatty acids and homocysteine are associated with the development of brain atrophy and dementia.
