Low vitamin d levels increase mortality

A large Danish study has established a causal relationship between low vitamin D levels and increased mortality boosting data from recent studies showing that low levels of this important vitamin are linked to increased risk of other diseases and higher mortality rates. The study authors examined the connection between genes associated with permanent low levels of vitamin D and mortality.
