Low magnesium intake link to depression in young adults

According to new US research in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, there is a significant link between very low magnesium intake and depression, especially in younger adults. Previous studies have linked magnesium supplementation to improvement in depressive symptoms, but consensus on the relationship between magnesium and depression has not been reached.
