Low iodine levels remain an issue in australian women abs survey

Almost two thirds of Australian women of child bearing age have iodine levels below what is recommended for safe pregnancy, according to the latest data from The Australian Bureau of Statistics. The recommended iodine level while pregnant, breastfeeding or around conception is 150 µg/L.
