Gingko biloba can slow cognitive decline study

People with declining cognitive function could stabilise or slow the decline with gingko biloba extract once a day according to the latest systematic review and meta-analysis of gingko biloba for cognitive impairment and dementia. The review, published in the Journal of Alzheimers Disease, shows gingko biloba extract EGb761 at 240 mg/day over 22-26 weeks showed benefit to cognition, function, behaviour and global change of patients with dementia and cognitive impairment.
