Dietary doses of omega 3s reduce systolic blood pressure

Daily doses of the omega 3 fatty acids as low as 0.7 g per day show clinically meaningful reductions in blood pressure, and may be associated with lower cardiovascular disease risks according to a recent study. The double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial, recently published in the Journal of Nutrition was undertaken on a group of 312 healthy men and women.
