Daily high dose vitamin d reduces relapse in ms patients

Multiple sclerosis patients on a daily high dose of vitamin D have fewer relapses in their condition than those on a lower dose, a randomised trial shows. Writing in the journal Neurology the authors say providing patients with vitamin D supplements could reduce the number and severity of flare-ups by augmenting the immune response in the body.
