Curcumin supplements alleviate pms symptoms

Taking curcumin supplements significantly reduces the severity of physical and mood-related symptoms  in women who suffer from premenstrual syndrome, a recent clinical trial suggests. Moreover, the results led the study authors to conclude that curcumin, which showed no side effects, can potentially be used as an alternative for anti-depressant (serotonin reuptake inhibitors such as fluoxetine) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs commonly used in treating PMS.
