Citrus scent inhibits liver cancer

A person’s sense of smell may be more than just a means of detecting pleasant or foul odours - it could cure cancer. Researchers have shown human olfactory receptors are not only found in the nose but elsewhere in the body and they could also serve as a target for liver cancer diagnosis and therapy when exposed to a component of a citrus essential oil.
