Circulating vitamin d levels lower colorectal cancer risk in women

Women with higher circulating vitamin D levels have lower incidence of colon cancer, new research from the US suggests. The nested case-control study included 274 colorectal cases and 274 controls from the Women's Health Study (WHS) cohort to determine whether prediagnostic levels of 25(OH)D were associated with risk of incident colorectal cancer.
