Blackmores Institute wins Best eLearning Program award

Blackmores Institute proudly accepted the Australian Institute of Training and Development's National Training Excellence Award for Best eLearning Program award this week, for their Blackmores SuperKids® online course.

“This is the fourth award Blackmores Institute has won this year in recognition of our research and education initiatives. It is testament to the hard work the team has put into transforming our approach to education and research and applying innovative solutions to help share knowledge about natural medicine,” said Blackmores Institute Director, Dr Lesley Braun.

To support the launch of a new range of products, Blackmores Institute was asked to develop educational materials that would help pharmacy employees build their knowledge and confidence to recommend the new products to customers. Given the difficulty in reaching many of the learners in terms of geography and time available, e-learning was identified as the best approach to educational delivery

“We are thrilled to have won this award. We are very proud of the Superkids education program, and the role it plays in helping to improve people’s knowledge of natural medicine,” said Blackmores Institute’s National Education Manager Gill McEwen.

The Superkids® online course set the benchmark for online retail training for pharmacy staff via Blackmores Education, enjoying great success with learners.
