Bioavailability-enhanced curcumin has greatest effect on inflammation

Noncommunicable diseases account for over 70% of all deaths globally, with inflammation and the continual production of proinflammatory mediators a factor in many of these chronic conditions. Curcumin is well researched for its anti-inflammatory benefits. However, the optimal dose, formulation and duration of use for reducing inflammatory markers is inconclusive.

For this reason, Australian researchers systematically reviewed the research on the effects of various curcumin formulations on circulating inflammatory markers, with very positive results.
