MOU heralds development of new treatments in Chinese medicines for Australians

Sydney is set to be home to Australia’s first Chinese medicine integrative clinical facility to have a close connection to both clinical and laboratory-based research. The new facility is one of the benefits of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between world-leading Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) and the University of Western Sydney (UWS), which is the home of the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM). signed this week in Canberra in the presence of Prime Minister Tony Abbott and People's Republic of China President Xi Jinping.
