Blackmores institute announces its inaugural symposium

With support from the National Institute of Complementary Medicine, Blackmores Institute announces its inaugural symposium (to REGISTER CLICK HERE) being held in Sydney from 28th February – 1 March 2014.  This event promises to be a game-changing occasion aimed at working with community pharmacy to grow the knowledge of the role that evidence-based, natural medicines can play in improving Australian health outcomes.  Neal Mercado, Director Blackmores Institute says, “Recent research commissioned by Blackmores Institute has indicated that community pharmacists are open-minded about complementary medicines, but have reservations about taking an active role in addressing the needs of their customers as a result of a limited availability of evidence-based educational programmes.”  “Blackmores Institute is focused on delivering high-quality education on natural medicines to healthcare practitioners and we are delighted to announce the inaugural Blackmores Institute symposium to further address this issue.”
